Voicemail Greeting Managemant

Create your primary greeting

Now that your voicemail is active, the next step is to get your personal voicemail greeting recorded. Below is instructions to walk you through setting up your voicemail greeting.

1) Press the message button on your phone. (the one that looks like a closed envelope)
2) Enter the password(PIN), as requested, followed by the # key.
3) Select option 6 for the Greetings Menu.
4) Next you will be presented with 3 options.
   Option 1 allows you to record a new greeting.
   Option 2 allows you to review your greetings.
   Option 3 allows you to select which greeting is active.
5) Since you are recording a new greeting, you will select option 1 to record a new greeting. When prompted for greeting number, press 1, since you are recording your primary greeting (greeting 1 is your primary greeting). Follow the prompts.

Once finished recording, that's it!

Create your secondary greeting

You can have up to 9 total greetings, including your primary. Usually, greeting 1 is your primary greeting. If you desire, you can record a vacation, meeting, etc. greeting to be played for your voicemail greeting. You would put these greetings on greeting numbers 2 through 9. You can record over an existing greeting by selecting the greeting number when prompted, so be careful when selecting the greeting number. 

To create a secondary greeting, follow the below steps.
1) Press the message button on your phone. (the one that looks like a closed envelope)
2) Enter the password, as requested, followed by the # key.
3) Select option 6 for the Greetings Menu.
4) Next you will be presented with 3 options.
   Option 1 allows you to record a new greeting.
   Option 2 allows you to review your greetings.
   Option 3 allows you to select which greeting is active.
5) Since you are recording a greeting, you will select option 1 to record a new greeting. When prompted for greeting number, choose a number between 2 and 9, since you are recording a secondary greeting. Follow the prompts.

Once finished recording, that's it!

Review your recorded voicemail greetings

1) Press the message button on your phone. (the one that looks like a closed envelope)
2) Enter the password, as requested,followed by the # key.
3) Select option 6 for the Greetings Menu.
4) Select option 2, then select the greeting number (1 - 9) you would like to be played back.\

Make a greeting active

To make a specific greeting active, follow the below steps.
1) Press the message button on your phone. (the one that looks like a closed envelope)
2) Enter the password, as requested, followed by the # key.
3) Select option 6 for the Greetings Menu.
4) Select option 3, then select the greeting number you would like to make active.
5)The system will playback the greeting you just made active.

That's all! Remember, once the vacation, meeting, etc. is complete, you will need to set your greeting back to the standard greeting.
