Please note, only email can be migrated to YourInbox.io by using the migration tool.

1. In a browser, navigate tohttps://myaccount.google.com/security

2. Once logged in, scroll down to the "Signing in to Google" section. Please verify that "2-Step Verification" isOn.If it is Off, please turn On 2-Step Verification before continuing, as you will not be able use the mailbox migration with it Off. Once 2-Step Verification is On, select "App passwords"

3. For "Select app" chooseMail. For "Select device", chooseOther (Custom name). It will prompt for the custom name, we suggest entering something easy to understand likeYourInbox.io Email Migration.

4. Google will generate a strong password to use for the email migration. It will be displayed in the yellow box. You will need this password, so please copy it, write it down or leave the browser window open. 

5. Open a new browser tab and navigate to YourInbox.io webmail page (https://webmail.yourinbox.io) and login.

6. Click on "Settings" (gear icon) in the top navigation menu.

7. Select "Connectivity" from the left-hand navigation menu, then click on the "Migrate" button, in the "Mailbox Migration" section.

8. You will see a pop-up asking you to select the service to migrate from, select "Gmail".

9. You will be prompted to select what to migrate and your credentials. You will turn off Calendars, Contacts and Tasks, in the "Items to import" section, as shown below. You will enter your Gmail email address in the "Email Address" area and enter the password from step 4 above in the "Password" area. Click the "Start" button and the email migration will begin.

10. You can monitor the migration progress by checking the "Mailbox Migration" section, as it will show the progress. Once complete, it will go back to the ready state, as shown below.
